Jim Knauf Juried into JTNP Art Expo and Pure Abstraction

PADA member Jim Knauf has been juried into two exhibitions this fall: the 14th Annual Joshua Tree National Park Art Exposition and Art Fluent's online exhibit Pure Abstraction.

Knauf's Comet in the Gloam was selected for the JTNP Art Expo 2026 juried exhibition, placing Jim among 60 artists chosen from 143 who entered. The show features artwork depicting or inspired by the natural aspects of Joshua Tree National Park or its cultural history. Prints will hang at the 29 Palms Art Gallery at the Oasis of Mara, 74055 Cottonwood Drive in Twentynine Palms, from November 6 through 29, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, November 7, from 4 to 7pm. The work will also appear in the exhibition catalog, available in print and online.

Knauf's Tropic of Abstract was selected for Pure Abstraction from 692 entries submitted by artists in twelve countries. The exhibition celebrates abstraction as freedom, perception, and visual energy, and can be viewed anytime on Art Fluent's website.
