Jim Wimberg Juried into ARTventure in Costa Mesa

PADA member Jim Wimberg has been juried into ARTventure, the City of Costa Mesa's annual juried art exhibition. Two of his paper collage works, G is 4-Girl and Lip[s]ink, both 16" x 12", have been selected for the show.

ARTventure is an open call for Southern California artists working in media created within the last five years, spanning digital art, fiber and textile art, mixed media, photography, representational art and three-dimensional work. A jury panel of at least three recognized authorities in the visual and fine arts reviews each entry for originality, creativity, composition, technique and presentation, then selects the exhibition roster along with award recipients and honorable mentions in each category.

The exhibition will be on view September 12 through 26 at the Norma Hertzog Community Center, 1845 Park Avenue in Costa Mesa. An opening reception and awards ceremony follows on September 12 from 3 to 7pm. Congratulations to Jim on this well-deserved recognition.
