PADA member Jim Wimberg has had a collage accepted into Portals, an online exhibition organized by Collage Artists of America. Wimberg is a member of the Photographic and Digital Artists group at the Palos Verdes Art Center. The exhibition runs from November 1 through December 31 and can be viewed on the gallery's website.
Wimberg's entry, Star, is a paper collage on Bristol board measuring 10 by 8 inches. He created it in February 2026 for Februllage, an informal international challenge on Instagram. Two collage artists in Europe posted a daily word prompt in February, and participants responded under the same tag. The organizers reviewed the daily work and featured their favorites each night.
The gallery has also recognized Wimberg with a prize. He is invited to the opening reception on Zoom on November 1 at 4:00 p.m. PST, where he will talk about his work.
