Lynn Doran Juried into The Fourth Dimension at Photo Art Pavilion

PADA member Lynn Doran has been juried into Photo Art Pavilion's online exhibition The Fourth Dimension: Imagery That Transcends the Physical World](https://photoartpavilion.com/current-exhibit/. Doran's selected image, Let's Ride, meets that theme with quiet wit. A shrouded, ghostlike figure stands in bright desert sun, its draped form glowing white against a darkened sky, while the handlebars of a weathered bicycle rise in the foreground as if waiting for a rider. The figure is Belgian artist Albert Szukalski's sculpture Ghost Rider (1984), which stands at the Goldwell Open Air Museum near Rhyolite, Nevada. The black-and-white treatment heightens every fold of the shroud and every patch of worn metal, leaving the viewer to wonder who, or what, is about to take the bike out for a spin.
