Lynn Doran Earns Honorable Mention in reFocus Color Photography Contest

PADA member Lynn Doran has been recognized in the reFocus Color Photography Contest 2026, receiving an Honorable Mention Award for her image Blue Lips in the Non-Professional Portrait category.

reFocus Awards is an international competition judged in a blind, two-round process by a panel of leading photo editors and creative directors — including representatives from The New York Times, the Financial Times, and Condé Nast Traveller. An Honorable Mention places Doran's work among a select group of images recognized for the ability to reframe a subject, expand the viewer's worldview, or explore the unexpected.

Blue Lips continues a strong year for Doran, who was recently profiled by the online arts publication aatonau and juried into the Street Rhythms international exhibition with her street portrait Blue Scarf.
